looking for a disc brake rear end with 3.08 LSD...cant use statesman as they are coil spring.any advise would be good ,,thanx.

No such thing. You'll have to use HZ/WB sedan/wagon/statesman axles, carrier, discs and calipers plus master cylinder (or mofify yours), all in your ute housing. HOWEVER it won't bolt in as the handbrake bracket on the caliper hits the leaf springs. You n

Hey Wizard. You were thinking of buying the statesman diff off me. You have a few options on what you can use. I modifyied a Stato diff to go in my van. They weld the spring carriers off your old diff to the statesman one. Cost about $300 to have thi

What is the actual mod for the callipers to clear the leaf springs? Without trying to sound snoty but I am not asking for an "I think" answer. I would really like to hear from someone who has actually done it with out using lowering blocks.

I've seen it done once using HZ calipers, where the caliper mounting plates were modified and rotated. Promac in Newcastle did it. The better way is to use a Commodore disc brake setup either on a Salisbury housing or use a complete VN diff with HZ hanger
