Hi guys, I have a HX sedan, V8 auto. I just had the wheel alignment done on Saturday, and when I came home I noticed one of the shims on the driveway. I checked the bolts holding the shims and everything is done up tight. I think they must have left a shim somewhere in the engine bay when they did the alignment and forgot to remove it.
My question is there anywhere else the shims could have came from except the 4 bolts on the upper wishbone (2 one each side) ? I looked in the manual and could not see any other places.
Is there any way the shims could have worked themselves loose even if everything is done up tight ?
Any help would be much appreciated.

After the alignment the shim was probably left on the crossmember... it would be a good idea to hold on to it as it may be needed again next time you get an alignment.... as long as everything is tight it wouldnt have fallen out

I would check with the place that did the alignment just to make sure. I have heard stories that these can pop out when the wheel on that side hits a large bump...
Cheers Dre
