As for bearing sizes..they will be stock 186 sizes.
Piston ring sizes...prostroke used ford pistons in their stroker..thats the type I have..mine are 3.680..which is 93.47 mm.

Thanks DR TERRY. was april 1967 when HK came out. EH/HD/HR,had dark red motor. HK/HT/HG, lighter red. HQ/HJ/HX/HZ, lighter red still. yes 186s did have the superior type bearings. i thought all HR had steel.

Hi steve.
No, the HK was released in Jan/Feb 1968. The April 1967 date is when the new foundry opened midway thru the HR .
AFAIK the HK 'Rocket Red' engine colour remained unchanged from HK to HZ. The EH/HD/HR had the darker red & the X2 & HR 186 S |
