Hi guys, have a few q's about different elec fuel pumps on holdens. Am currently working on a RA28 celica with a 1g-gte engine in it and need to go to an electric fp. Was thinking of using one off a holden for i know how easy it is to get most parts, guys have been using VL turbo pumps with success on modified engines and find that they are sufficiently strong. Was after some opinions on what pumps may be a good option? Was thinking of making a swirl pot, rather than a surge tank but am open to any suggestions and price ideas?
Thanks guys, any help appreciated. ps. will go to 5/16 lines on the car too.

Surge pots and swirl tanks are basically the same thing. Like Trev says not really necessary on a street car but make petrol return line go to the tank and not back into the fuel line as there are bubbles and excess heat in the return fuel.

Thanks guys, i am actually setting the car up to eventually do some track work, bitumen rally and some touring events. Was interested in swirl pot so the car doesn't lean out in heavy cornering cos i am aware that the vl pumps need fuel through them all t
