can anyone please advise the bset timing for 253 on gas I'm running at 11 to 12 advanced

Do you have a stock dissy or one regraphed for gas? If it is stock then 12 deg BTDC is a good compromise. But a regraphed dissy starts at about 10 deg and will max out at around 28 deg by 3000RPM. This is because gas likes more inital advance and less fin
