Hi guys.
I hvae a HK monaro with std 10 bolt diff and brakes. up front I have a new HQ disks, HX calipers.
No matter what I do I cant loose the spongy pedal. I have a new Master Cylinder, new braided brake lines.
What else do I look for?? It will stop pretty well. It is just the spongy pedal that I dont like.
What else is there for me to check and anything to look for??
cheers

Spongy brake pedal is usually associated with air in your brake lines.
HQ have a split fluid chamber front and rear. Make sure you have oodles of fluid, or if new and clean re-use it to top up, the master cycle as you bleed the lines.

Make sure that your rear brakes are adjusted up correctly. If the self adjusters are stuffed and the linings aren't adjusted up the pedal will be spongy.
