Can anyone let me the know the internal dimensions of a Statesman boot (not capacity) A friend of mine is travelling from the UK and will be hireing one and needs to fit a lot of cases into it. It would probably be a WK, but I believe the ordinary VT is very similar.

Check out a few car hire firms on the 'net.
Some of them show how many cases, and what size will fit in the boot.
Surely the firm he's hiring the car from can tell him.

He has tried but none of the hire firms seem to own a tape measure...
The Statesman brochure I have only shows it as 540 litres, fine if you are carrying ping pong balls... rather than large cases.
He may have to go for Commodore Wagon instead.
