I discovered yesterday that the secondary air flaps on top of the carby are stuck shut. I'm guessing they should be able to be moved reasonably freely, but these ones aren't! I have read that dual fuel cars have a habit of warping the carby tops, so this may be what's happened. Has anyone ever successfully fixed this problem using the same top, if so what did you do? Or do you have to find another one?

Thanks

Peter

Howdy Peter,

Best to get a new airhorn if badly warped as these carbs rely on vacuum transfer between the main body and the airhorn to work properly. You can actually unwarp them by really carefully heating them to 150 degrees whilst having them in

Thanks Paul, some good suggestions there.
