someone help please me i am about to go mental i cant figure out how the fuck to get the 1985 holden ml barina's fucking gearbox out i just hope it doesnt involve pilling the hole bloody engine out i would like to know how to get the gear box out could someone please tell me

Some FWD gearboxes can removed with the engine left behind by mechanics who know their stuff, can't recall if the Barina/Suzuki Swift was one of them.Some of the other blokes in here might

Don't bother with pilling the hole engine out.....
You drop the gearbox from underneath the car.
Haven't done a Barina, but done plenty of Mazdas & Nissans, so I reckon that Barinas gotta be similar.

I have done a couple of Suzuki Swifts which are basically the same car.
I would suggest you mark all the pipes etc so you can put them back in the right place and pull the whole lot, it's far less skin off the knuckles and frustration, you can get the bo
