The fan (blower) in our VS cuts in and out as it pleases. Pushing the demister button on, cuts the fan out for awhile and the demister does not power on. The fan also only works as it see fit like i can get in the car and it will work straight away, then the next time i get in the car say 15 minutes later no fan no air con turn it all off and wait it comes back on most of the time within 30 minutes. It does it on all settings,I checked the fuses and solenoid and all is fine there except when the fan has cut out, there is no power at the solenoid from the switch.
Any ideas or does anyone have a schematic for the circuit they can email me?

Sounds like fan motor is on its way out. I'm wrecking a 96 VS ss if you want a new fan motor. I have all the dash stripped out and the fan still looks like a prick of a job. if you want the motor let me know by email

If a smoker has owned the car, tar may have gathered up under the dash. A new switch may help to get power to the fan motor.

Hi ok a stupid thing is now happening with the fan on the car i thought after i took my son to school this morning that i would see how the demister and air con buttons came out i got the demister button off and touched the dam thing and pushed the button

Hi once again ok the dam thing has stopped working all together this is starting to get very annoying to say the least. well ill ponder on and hopefully come up with the problem
