g day can some 1 help i fitted a cold air induction kit under my bumper a vt comm but when it rained got water sucked up to throttel body and stalled i pulled it 2 peices and dryed it out it seems ok but is there any damage this coud have caused as it was alot of water ie long term short term thanks

i have a mate that stripped a motor after the recent heavy rain in melbourne. 2 of the conrods had been bent almost 60 degrese after water got into the cold air intake.
