Anyone know of a reputable reconditioner of a HQ GTS dash fascia in Victoria. This fascia has the fish scale type finish and is in excellent shape ( no cracks or butchered around radio) apart from the fish scale finish. I know there is a recondioner of this type in Adelaide but would like to get it done closer to home. Thanks in advance Bluez.

Dash Originals in SA do a very good job of the fish scale dash rebuilds.

They are a bit expensive and a bit slow no a lot slow but a good job

you can buy the carbon fibre dash facia cover from rarespares.

Trouble is if you do put the carbon fibre dash facia cover over the original fish scale fascia, you pretty much ruin the original finish with the glue. Thanks anyway for the info. Have found a chrome plater who does plastics in East Vic who is going to d |

i had my dash done with the carbon fibre cover,looks great,(its the silver/chrome colour).had it done by dash specialtes syd 02 9773 4024.good luck

Yeah, it can be frustrating not knowing how something turned out. Not only for the people who offer the advice but also for those who look up info' by using the search function later. If the advice needs some minor mod to work (or work heaps better), then

hello again all on this dash fascia which seems to be of interest to some. Picked up the fascia today and was very happy with the end result. Thanks to all who offered advise, but we went with the re chroming rather than the carbon insert. Here is a pho |
