Hello all

Dont know if this has been asked before but has anyone had trouble with the fuel gauge on VX commodores. My recently purchased berlina runs out of fuel at the 1/4 mark and the trip computer tells me I have approx 150kms til empty. My wife has been caught out by this twice and would be nice if we could start trusting the gauge.

Has anyone had/overcame this problem?

Thanks

Hi Mick,

This is a known fault in them. There was an update of the fuel gauge software maybe 10 or 12 months ago. Take it to a Holden dealer and ask them to check whether your car was done. It won't be perfect, but it should be better.

Cheers...Da
