ever since i put new discs and pads on my ute there has been a sound coming from the front right discs. it sounds likle a lathe at 60 k's and it has gouged it out a bit but i checked and there is no stones or grit or anything on the pads. any idea's????

Goremetal,
There are some crap brands of pads out there. Once hada VK put new pads in (I think called "Aussie"), a few months later sounded like metal to metal n the pads weren't even worn, I replaced them with Bendix and sound was gone.
Also new pads

Goremetal,
I had the same on a HQ, if you don't have a grinder as such, I took the pads out chamfered the edges on the concrete,gave them a good hit with brake clean or CO cleaner
put them back in and no worries.
I would also recommend bendix bishop.
