I have a HQ with a 253 and super low kingsprings in the front. On full lock on the passenger side the tyre tends to crab and place all the weight on the outside edge creating excessive tyre wear.
The car has power steering as well and there are short arms and long arms for power and non-power steering cars and i am starting to wonder if i have a mix of them.
Do the wishbones only come in one length as it appeared that one wheel looked more under the front guards than the other.
Was tempted to start swapping out steering parts from a wrecked HZ but will that mean it will have RTS and as such parts arent that interchangable?
Thanks in advance for any advice offered

HQ-WH upper and lower control arms are fundamentally the same, ie there is no size differencs between them. The may be some minor differences along the way associated with shock absorber lower hole size and bumpstop locations but they are basically interc

I would recommend you go to Pedders and see what they say. Most of these shops know HQ fronts very well. They should have great advice. A HQ can be expensive on parts and labour though. Cheers, J

I'd take the car into Pedders as John has suggested.
For "standard" common cars such as an HQ they are probably the cheapest and quickest option on advice and parts.
Pedders also do an exchange service on arms and bushings, which is a lot easier than pu
