I am rebuilding a 66 Hr Holden,I am going to instal a set of disc brakes.I have a VH44 Brake booster and I am not sure if I have to only swap the rear wheel cylinders or to I have to also instal a brake equialiser,also are Torana front disc's and hubs a straight swap?? Any help would be great.

Read the Hoppers Stoppers web site http://www.hoppers.com.au/indexmain.html It has heaps of information on upgrading brakes on all early Holdens using parts from later models. You should find everything you need to know for a HR.

i fitted UC torana disc's to my HR straight swap and i put the UC drums at the back it all works real good the hand brake cable was all that need to be modifyed take the ball off of the HR and put a loop off of the UC
