could anybody please tell me if i will need a spacer plate or different bellhousing to swap from toploader gearbox to a T5.thankyou.

Yes you can get a spacer plate to fit the T5 onto your toploader bellhousing or you can go the way of a nice new lightweight alloy bellhousing. I believe that both Dellow & CRS sell both the spacer and the bellhousing.
