hi can anyone please tell me how to convert my xc that was origanly points to use a factory electric dizzy. i have the correct coil.i just need to know how to wire it up. cheers (clevo engine)

use a xd/xe electronic dizzy.there are only 2 wires but id have to look at my car cause i cant remember wich is wich

It's usually black to "-" and red to "+" unless the wire colors different. Which with mean green to "-" and the other wire to "+"

All sounds too easy. The thing to watch out for is the difference in the OD of the old distributor shaft relative to the replacement shaft as the oil pump runs off the same shaft. I was very fortunate not do my motor in over this and ended up getting the

I can't remember which way it is but one clevo had a 13mm hole and the other had 12.7mm. I recently machined one down to fit a mates engine.

i have had a xd/xe electronic dizzy in my car (had points)for 2 years now,some motors had a different size dizzy hole (very small difference on some)but i have had no probs at all i have 6 xflow engines and never had a prob with putting these dizzys in.fo
