Do VN/VP V6's have a switch to turn the cooling fan on and off?
I thought that the sender that is screwed into the front of the inlet manifold (the one with the injector type wiring plug on it) near the temp guage sender was it but when I pull it out & place it in hot water it's resistance changes but it isn't a switch.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
Thanks, Jim... |

The temp sender, as you have guessed, has a 2 pin plug like a fuel injector, and it is mounted on the rear of the manifold on the early V6 (with the rear top hose), and on the later V6 (late VN & all VP) it's at the front under the alternator.

Thanks for that Mick.
I had a feeling that that was how it works. I'ts a bit of a bugger because I have a couple of V6 inlet manifolds lying around & want a fan switch for my Falcon but I'm not going to get one from here.
It looks like I'll ha |
