Hi My brother in law is looking to sell his VP series ii with 183,000kms on the clock. it recently had the top of the motor re-cond all bar the rings because they were fine. it needs a good clean cause it's very dirty and a new paint job because some thugs with eggs attacked it for something to do. it's been serviced regulalily and has a 8 cd stacker and spoiler as well as a stronger power steering for the wider mags. he wants to sell it without a roadworthy? (but we dont think it needs anything anyway)
my boyfriend is looking at buying it, is $2500 a fair price?

The aim of the game is to get it as cheap as possible. I bought my VP 6 months ago. 160k's full service history, resprayed bonnet and roof, Duel fuel and alloy wheels, for $4500. But my car is basically immaculate, I havent had to touch it from the tim

$2500 is a bit steep, basically because the paint is stuffed. it is probably worth $2500 but the bad paint will scare off buyers.
offer him between $1500 and $2000 MAX.
dont forget other things like the gearbox, suspension bushes, brakes, door seal
