I would like to purchase a 94 Statesman Im just wondering is the suspension and other parts the same in the statesman compared to the 94 model commordore.

Rear end is the same as the IRS sedan.
Front is the same as the regular commodore.
Most parts interchange, it is only the trim & body items unique to the statesman that don't. |

Thanks for that Commodorenut,I thought the Statesman would have been more heavy duty being a V8.I think I'll still buy it for a dependable luxury vehicle at an affordable price, fuel costs you say not a problem as it runs on straight gas. This poor guys b

There was a late VSIII (97/98) V6 one of these sold up here recently for around $8500. It was really nice, dark blue and about 75,000kM. He was asking $16k originally and couldn't sell it. Ended up taking the low figure. A lot of car for the $. |

the statesman is around 20kg heavier compared to the commodore, due to body and trim difference's
the v8 is heavier than the six in any model, buy around the same (20kg)
