Hi,
Over a beer the other day we were discussing 9" diffs and the question was posed, if the XA 9" was ever supplied with 31 spline axles like the XY GTHOs were?
Was this possibly a Phase 4 or RPO upgrade?
Any info that will settle the discussion would be great!

Yes 31 spline 9" were fitted to SOME XA GTs, but only the RPO83s as far as I can find. Not all RPO83s either, but some were. At present there is has been no pattern found as to why some RPO83s got 31 spline 9"s and others didn't. Those that did, also seam
