which brand of oil filters do u consider to be best. im currently using a ryco z30

alos, how do u know if a oil filter has an anti-drain back valve??. i have new ryco one and it says nothing on the box about having one, but previous units i have used have had anti drain back valve stamped on the box

best filter to use is GM. Pt. no. 9214 2006, will fit any holden 6 or V8. they are a smaller size. $9.30 at your local holden dealer parts dept.

Yup GM or Ryco, thats all I would ever use. RYCO have been around fr years.

GM only.

I have read quality control postings on most generic oil filters for cars, and the GM ones are the only ones I will use now as a result.

i needed one on a sunday once so couldnt go to holden to get it, bought a ryco one from repco and it was about 5 bucks more than the GM one

I doubt GM have their own oil filter factory, they're probably made by some generic brand company anyway. Fram, Donaldson, PALL, they're all big companies that spend millions on oil filter tech. Just dont buy Kmart or some crap ... Wayne

i use the "PURE ONE" filters
smaller micron filtration.
plus its a pretty metallic blue!!


VN Calais, V8 Auto, Blown etc etc.

Air con, Electrical, Car audio Master.
