Hi, can someone translate this ww strommy code please:

23 3045

PREVIOUS CODES FROM SEARCH:

The earlier carb for an HQ 253 manual is the 23-3046, & the later carb (Nov '72 onwards) is the 23-3064

A 23-201A&B is 186S Manual, a 23-202A&B is 186S Auto.

The 23-3098 ia WW for 4.2 (252) V8 auto in HX & LX from July '76 to April '77

A 23-3111 WW is off an HX/HZ/LX/VB 4.2 V8 auto from May '77 to Mar '80

The correct carby code for an HG 186 S auto is 23-3036

Hi Tom.

The 186 S carbies you have listed are the USA built Stromberg type fitted to HR, HK & very early HT.

Early in the HT series GM-H switched over to the Australian made Bendix-Stromberg type & their numbers are -

23-3034 suits HT 186 S auto

Thanks Dr Terry. I am searching for a HK/T/G auto carb if anyone has one. Would also be interested in the manual ones if any become available.
