Hey my VL's odomoter is playing up (amongst other things). Both the total mileage and the timed mileage (don't know proper name, the second spinning wheel). Both freeze for long periods of time and then click on. When rotating, the lower wheel rotates at normal speed but the mileage wheel spins at the same speed as the lower wheel. In other words if I cross a suburb which is roughly 6km it tells me I've done 40+kms.

I was just wondering if anyone has or knows of a guide on how to fix the odomoter? I've seen guides for VB-VK but no VL. And I'm pretty keen to get mine fixed, rather then replacing as mine only has 147,000 on the clock.

Thanks in advance.

VL is very similar to the VB-VK guide that I did.

It's just a matter of studying which gears do what, and work out what is not moving when it should be.

Here's that page I did on VB-VK:

Cheers,
