I have a 173 block with an engine prefix NDxxxx. Just to the left on the crankcase near the distributor is stamped 154452V. Can anybody
out there shed some light in the origin of this motor as I need to
have the right pollution gear on it for RTA to see when it is inspected. Year of manufacture and the model it came from would be a great help.

Dave. It's not out of ANY model. It's a NASCO/GMP&A factory replacement 173 high compression short motor for any of the following original Australian delivery vehicles:

LJ,LH,LX,UC,HQ,HJ,HX,VB or CF (Bedford). You cannot tell from the prefix what vehic
