Hi Guys, as luck would have it my trusty mechanic has broken his leg and is off work for 2 months...i can't wait that long so i need to find someone who can tune a ww2 and elec dizzy, reco the brakes + also capable of rwc's, someone who will be sympathetic to my HK, no "trade it in on a newer car, young man" B.S.
can anyone recommend a good mech. on or around the gold coast?
... ps when does the next auction start?

Hi 70ute,
Put a kit thru the WW2 its easy ! I assume drums all round ? Ditto easy, replace the pads just take your time with them - you dont need to bleed them, just watch the master cylinder doesnt over flow. Elect dizzy....a carby shop and RWC a serv

hi john, the ww2 is a new reco unit so just hoping it should be jetted etc. correctly. I have no trouble maintaining things like the brakes but the state they are in atm (front discs) they may need the calipers rebuilt and also the master cylinder/booste

Hi Elton,
OK understood. Time !!!! Find another older mechanic. The carb is prob overjetted. Mine is lean and still chews the juice. So find an older mechanic, and take teh car to a carb tune shop.
