Anyone know what is the widest tyre I can safely fit to a 15x7" aluminium rim?
I thought a 265x60x15, but a mate told me it would break the bead under a hard corner.

225 is the ideal size, and I would go no wider than 235 on a 7" rim, although others have run 245s. 265 is way too wide for a 7" rim.

going to wide for the rim means the tyre will not sit on the road propely as well and wear uneven.
