OK I admitt it Im not a real ford man but none the less the local Aussie made Fords are pritty good and I have owned a few. The one thing I have never totaly understood was what the differance is between 2V and 4V heads? Now I read in the parts mag that you can buy after market 3V heads. So if you can bring me up to speed on this and explain what they are and how you tell the differance when you look at a set of heads and what differance it makes, you will make my day!! Thanks for looking and any replies posted. :-)

There is also open and closed chamber heads plus the 302 2V is different from the 351 2V head. It's all rather confusing but here is a link that might help the waters be just a little bit less murky. http://www.aus-ford-uk.co.uk/html/engines2.html

Basically 2v heads are the "small port" heads that are good for street use they come in closed chamber and open chamber the difference here is the combustion chambers on an open chamber head are much larger than they are on an closed chamber head for lowe |
