awhile ago i reported having problems with my ba ford, dedicated gas car backfiring. had problem fo 50,000 kms . dealer could not fix. took to dealer who had a gas technician, he found that 3 cylinders had faulty ignition coils, which was causing the backfiring.. these coils are going to give other ba owners problems , not only the gas cars .70.00 dollars each ... hope this helps other owners , cheers.
