Hello Everyone,
I'm going to use a TH350 behind a 253 Holden V8 so what I need to know is was this gearbox originally from a Holden and if so which models I'm looking for a suitable gearbox crossmember to use for this gearbox in another vehicle and I want to use the original setup.
Elvis.

The TH350 was standard in late HZ and WB up until sometime in late 1982 approx. Also in late VB Commodore, VC Commodore and early VH. This box was behind a 308 ONLY. You can pick it from the BODY plate:

M38 = TH350.
M40 = Trimatic.
M41 = TH400.

Hi Bryon,
I was going to use the TH350 in a 1939 Plymouth, I was told the TH350 is suitable to use with the 253, the Trimatic can they have the gear shift mounted on top of the transmission like the TH350.
Thanks
Elvis.

What do you mean by 'on top' of the transmission?
The TH350 is suitable for the 253, but you need mods as per my previous post unless you chase down an original E or S series Bedford truck 253 block.
