Hello Warren I just read your post from last year.I dont remember a black LX Torana with those 3 black cars. I was a bit young then 16 and only could afford a gemini when I got my ticket. I wish I could have bought them. I was so amazed they stayed there

Can someone shed some light on this one(yes I know no records were kept) - I know of a Russet 1973 HQ GTS/4 350 TH400 - supposed top be a one off for that model?

Russet was a standard GTS 4 door colour, and they made these cars at 4 plants. So if it was the only one then the only people that would know would be someone who oversaw all plants. Do you think they would have tried to find out this information? (ie cal

Hi Warren, Byron the info you blokes have access to doesnt include colours only vins and engine options?
Theres a Wedgewood Blue (EH colour) HZ on ebay is this a fleet colour or a one off initially thought it was opaline blue?

It is wedgewood with snowcrest white roof so it is likely a fleet owner as the car is an A9K pack Kingswood, not a Kingswood SL.

The fleet may have purchased cars every few years and they had them done in their EH colours.

seen as though "black" has been bought up a bit, im a proud owner of a factory black hx sandman, when it came up i knew it was worth nearly losing my family ;D

anyway i was talking to warren smith in vic, he said a mate has a hx gts 4door tuxedo black

cannon wedgewood was a standard HQ-LJ colour and is different to wedgewood blue. In the HZ run there are colours called Sage Green Met. and Sage Met. just to confuse things.

Thanks mr Jones you are right, I went out and had a look at the Torrie and its a much deeper blue than the pale opaline or sky type color of that HZ on ebay.

When i was a Panel Beater we used to do work for the Local Holden Dealer (Bruce Andrews Maffra) and they bought across there new demo for touch ups. It was a HJ GTS 4 Door 5 Litre 4 speed painted in Tuxedo Black with no high lites, parchment trim with her
