outright honours for me goes to V1 monaro... for its jawdropping debut at the international motorshow and the the way a classic aussie muscle car was reinvented...
for a classic you cant go past HK GTS Bathurst 350... built for speed not for comfort... |
Drive carefully! Remember, it's not only a car that can be recalled by it's maker |

I like the FC station wagon, nice size, drives ok , economical, terrible seating, but just like the look of them. want one in the white body with the turqoise colour flash on the rear and sides. to be honest I like the vk as well, the VL rear does nothin

I see that a lot of you are going for HK-HG vintage cars. I personally think that these cars should be excluded from best built status on the grounds that they rusted out far too quickly
My Dad had an HK Kingswood .since new and he still talks about

Yes, they are rusty (like Ford coupes). And the question was best built! But the HK HG HT Monaros were definetley a tough looking car and it is a credit to previous and current owners to keep them alive.

Hi Guys
This thread is a little ambiguous because of the original question -

Probably the most effective built by Holden would be the A9X option on the LX. And I agree with Dr Terry about the newer cars being better to drive. My V2 CV8 is probably the best driving car ive ever owned. Getting back into it after the VZ Cross 8 is l |

Hi Byron.
Again, I'm not talking about it being nice to drive or look at. Just look at the fit & design & general quality of the mechanical & electrical components. Look how long they last. If you got 80,000 miles out of a early Grey or Red motor you w |
