Hi Mike,the number STAMPED on my 2 door Monaro firewall is 11287S
The original tags were lost at the panelbeaters before I purchased.
Desperate to indentify what I have.Do you have a email address for
this Ben Stewart.

Looking at purchasing a LJ Torana GTR XU1 in very bad condition
All paper work gone over the years,chassis # 825690 J219060 Eng # OL321350
Can anyone help to confirm correct authentic details.

Not much XU-1 there !!
82569 = 4-door SL 6-cyl & this is part of the VIN, not the chassis number. The chassis number should begin with LC, ALC or ALJ etc, depending on the series.
Engine number prefix is probably QL (not OL) & this is from a standar |
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0 |

Regarding the numbers you posted here from your HQ coupe - AHQ11261S and 11287S - please confirm if it is a base model, an LS or a GTS. The numbers are a match for want of a better word and are from a Sydney built car. If you can tell me wh

The 2 door Monaro is only a body.No seats or trim etc,or anything else to tell me what it is.Im not sure what your asking (confirm if its a base model)

garry your HQ can be anything you want, you have No ID tags & therefore no chance of IDing what the car was from factory, the only things that may help you narrow it a bit is the obvious body differences between the levels of luxury, eg, No factory hole i |
