Leo Pruneau is who you should ask regarding the 308Q. Leo was at a Monaro club run last weekend and I spoke with him briefly regarding HQ coupes. A top bloke to say the least with a lot of time for HQ Monaro enthusiasts. The 350/Z was a real car which is known to Ben Stewart amongst others. Old Man Emu was a clay only with the plan for production killed by management. There were other HQ coupes from 1971 that had 400 engines in them for styling and evaluation and motor show purposes. I'm sure that if you approached Leo he would be able to solve the mystery. Harry Firth would be another person who will know about the 308Q.

Stephen if you have a look at the pictures they are the same.
early pictures do not have it later ones do.
So a bit of a revamp at some stage.

I have also now added these pictures of 308Q to my O/H shed.

Warren and D.A Barnes thanks a lot for the extra information on these cars.
Cheers Paul.
