Andrew, ease up a bit there mate. I regularly used to drop into Harrisons shop at Loganholme and have bought some good quality used parts from them at very reasonable prices, Paul is a reasonable person to deal with and some of the parts he has had made are very good and are made here in Australia. I think it is excellent that he is trying to get good repro parts made at reasonable prices and if they are better than Rares parts all the better, competition is a good thing for all of us and whoever makes the better part will get the business.

Next time I am down that way with a bit of spare time Ill drop into the new store and check it out and will post my thoughts. I do know he had hanging in the old store some retrimed HX Monaro door trims and seats done in the correct Slat black long grain vinyl and they looked perfect.

EDIT: And it was you Mr gts308 with the Purple Mingza, That made the inconsiderate offer on a car I genuinely have for sale, thats why the joke you made was reversed !!

It was no joke, $500 was my offer, but on reflection I should have set my sights lower due to the previous owner!

Hey ITCH they are your cars to do what you will.

My HT GTS has flared rear quaters I just cant be bothered putting them back to standard + they look alright.

Its like what a monaroclub member said to me "If you want it to be worth something in the long run put them back to standard" I said "Dont worry me my car dont plan on selling it anytime soon so yeah"

Enjoy what you got :)

Also Paul what would be a rough guess at a price on one of those tank kits??

The same thing went through my head when I read his first 2 posts.
Grue=monster
Pugg=ugly dog
It seems to have DP/Bosko origins and I would guess on past performances about 1 week to 1 month depending on his menstrual cycle.

Hi, Stephen, its hard to say until tooling is finished.It also depends on how many fairdinkum orders i get.The more i order the cheaper they will be for everyone.Im hoping to turn out the whole kit for under $1500, whats your thoughts.I need to know how many are interested if there around this price. Please register your interest. Thanks, Paul.

Good luck with getting the tanks out there Paul.

Hes a QLD GT Club member, his business supplies Ford and Holden bits . He is genuinely interested in musclecars and his business for the long haul.

IMHO people with good cars arent going to want them unless they are accurate and the concourse will want them completely so.

Cheers
Nick

Hi Nick,
work has already started on the tooling for these & we expect to be doing our first limited run before xmas,once they have been trial fitted & approved.There will be no problems with the quality, they will be made better than factory,the insides of the tanks will have a special coating on them to stop the chemicals in the unleaded fuel eating the bottom of the tank out & we will be making the baffles stronger so they dont come loose like the originals. Anyone interested in these please put your name on our list so we can judge the amount of interest in these, that way we know how many to make for our first order,which will determine the price. The more i order the cheaper theyll be for everyone.
To place an order or ask any questions please contact me direct on - (07)55490351 or [email protected] Thanks, Paul.

THERES NO SUCH THING AS CHEEP QUALITY,DO YOU WANT CHEEP OR DO YOU WANT QUALITY!!!

if you spend a lot at the start you will have spent way to much at the beggining , but will save a lot a few times over by not having to replace

the question is do you want to save a little or save a lot
