Dave,

A few things I bought up with my local RS store which I wasn't all that happy with when it happened, and I hope has been bought to your attention since:

1. Bought a pair of kick panels for a 1974 HQ GTS/4 Sedan, told that they fitted all models, passenger side kick panel min 1/2" out on the hole, found out from another supplier that late model (74) HQ's had a different kick panel setup, not offered refund (after purchasing replacement ones from elsewhere).

2. Bought new door trim moulding clips and rivets in packs to replace current rivets/screws/trim plastic moulds on exterior of doors. Screws were too long and busted through first mould put on, had to source another mint mould to replace, didn't believe screws were too long even after showing original screw from mould, yet pack on shelf sold separately was correct length.

3. Same item, plastic mould clips "swelled" when put onto the supplied rivet, managed to get rear trims on but had to source front ones from a competitor to enable the front trims to be put on.

4. Sill screws were all incorrect guage also, too thick, had to drill holes out.

5. Brake pedal rubbers were all in the wrong packaging, manual in auto and vice versa.

I quite like the fact that you guys offer us parts which would otherwise be hard to find, and for this I am grateful, but some of the parts are seriously out of wack, some of them fit fine (tailights, side repeaters etc), it's very hit and miss and something that should probably be looked at I guess.

I couldn't agree more.
Aside from the items you mentioned if you would care to let me know of anything else I have a Directors' meeting on Wednesday so I can raise the issues then.
Thanks for the feedback.
cheers
Dave

Hey Hazzard, haven't heard from you yet.
Please give me a call and I'll try to sort out your badge issues.
Cheers
Dave
