As an apprentice, having to machine 30 steering columns on an old 1942 English Cholchester with more play on the slides than Michael Jordan + Having a boss praying for you to stuff one so he can take out his failed marriage on you.
Then followed closely by having to weld a heap of already heavily galved steel, prior to welding helmets without breathing assistance and a workshop without any ventilation, bar the holes in the corregated tin.
