Can you feel the vibration through the steering wheel or on the floor or both etc. Do you get Peddle hop or anything like that ? Cheers Scott

You would be surprised what a small bit of looseness in the tie rod ends can do to your steering. Ball joints are more a suspension thing. Pedal hop is not always present.Did they check the rims for out of round

Use 1st gear and idle only.

It may be something that only vibrates at that speed because it is too tight or heavy at slower speeds.

This can increase the angle of the tailshaft to the universal joints and cause a vibration. (information came from a Mercedes Benz mechanic) If you have, a quick fix is to raise the back of the gearbox slightly

I did have the car lowered by fitting 4 new 20 mm lowered springs but this should lower the car the same all round shouldn't it ? Holdens looked good all through Bathurst so I never left the tv to do any more on the car . I have bought

It will still alter the angle of the unis as the engine has moved in comparison to the axle. I seriously doubt that this will be your problem due to the small amount lowered. bluHJ
