got my ht 2 years ago on ebay for $4200
then they went through the roof.........great investment i made

its sad to see SOME people out there into to make money,not passion. i gota 77 hx foure door monaro which i`ve got for 19.yrs. in for a new restore.cost me heeps. dont care in for pasion.

The amount of money ive sunk into my cars over the last 25yrs would be more than the amount they have gone up in recent years.. I just own them for the fun of it not to make money like investors.

having been in my teens when the first monaros from three on the tree 161 to 327 four speed came up against the falcon gts and being a holden fan i thought the monaros were and still are an ugly car and wouldnt part with any money to own one no axe to gri

Opinions are just like anything else. I reckon the Phase III is over-rated. The XA GT was a much more successful car in the race that really mattered (Bathurst) against an opposition that was competitive. In my opinion the HK GTS is leaps and bounds ahead

Very true Byron Rich. Can think of half a dozen mates who would sooner choose an XT over an XY. How often to Aussie car enthusiasts get told to get rid of their current car and get an XY,OK its the most valuble but does that mean its the only old Aussie c
