I think COME do a stroker "kit", not sure if the block needs relieveing to allow for the extra throw of the rods either.

The Holden 2 bolt end would need to be modified to accept 4 bolt caps at the least.

im considering a 355 stroker

I think the HRT 427 engines were special GenIII blocks that are longer to allow for the bigger bores. Of course cranks, heads etc are all different. Those engines were bought in to the country by HSV I believe through a Newcastle based importer. COME do m

Gees....Moser axles are certainly the goods.
Hate to ask, but exactly how much are you paying for this apparent monster?
Curious to know why the engine has a dual plane manifold....if it is a genuine stroker, it should produce heaps of power down low, o

He is asking for $12,000 for the car, but we could probably get him down a bit. He said that it has a dual plane manifold so he could maximise the amount of torque available. According to him it made 385hp@5000rpm and 426ft/lb @ 3750 rpm. Just for your

Steve Coads Targa HQ Monaro is a 350 chev engine stroked to 414.
Not sure what the horsepower is now, but before stroking it was producing around 670hp.

Sam...the engine from your various descriptions is most likely a stroked 308. It's up to you to

You are still faced with issue that there is no evidence of what has been done to the motor. You don't even know what motor it is or who did the rebuild. Could be some cowboy with a Supercheap tool kit or a real pro who knows what he is doing. Who knows?
