Got it. Thanks Mick. Guys - list further updated. If any of you want to be scouts, keep an eye out for the following for me: Late VSIII ute or Statesman with roller cam 195kW HBD engine. VM or VN prefix?? Very early LC XU-1 - 3300X or 186X. Ive s Edited by user Thursday, 6 April 2006 4:36:55 AM(UTC)

Isnt it 3100X (not 3300X) ?
Ive not seen a 186X stamped block either, only 3100X for LC GTR XU-1.

Isn't it 3100X (not 3300X) ?
I've not seen a 186X stamped block either, only 3100X for LC GTR XU-1.

With the introduction of teh HQ ALL engines, irrespective of capacity or cylinders were numbered sequencially (except Chev), so you could have a 308 then a 202 then a 253, eg
QT12345 QL12346 QR12347
This continues to VKand possibly VL, I have not

The best email to get me on, is commodorenut (AT) gmail.com (replace (AT) with @) I have had some email woes recently, as I had my laptop stolen from the boot o |

the first vs III came with 168 kw 395 nm with cold air until. jan 1999 emissions laws. then the 179 kw 400nm statesman & ute. with cluch fan. my oct 1999 s ute is a vm prefix.

Im not trying to be picky but the HT prefixed 5.0 litre was available in the SS also.
As a note you might want to add that no 5.0 litre LXs were built after the production run of A9Xs finished.
