Looking sweet. Clever numberplates too. Only gripe I have with it is the CD player. The silver stands out a bit, makes the cabin look a little tacky. I reckon you need a nice subtle one like those Sony systems that had the flat black front panel which slid down and forward to reveal the buttons underneath.
Other than that, I can see why someone would offer you $20g on the spot. Those wheels look fantastic. Wish I had a st of those for each of my HZs.

Yep thats a fair comment about the CD player, but its also a big problem when it comes to fitting something like this in the dash of an older car. The people that design these units have no taste for what would look cool in anything other than some ricer.
That ute still looks the goods though.

I really appreciate your comments about the CD player,I agree with you . I hate it, cheap crap genisis. The missus bought it for me for christmas new for $79.00 a few years ago I never liked it . Maybe I could try and paint it flat Black would look better than silver?

Thanks Mate , Looking forward to going for a cruise in the ute down the beach with the wife & no Kids.
Get some fish and chips & enjoy some nice wine together, Its been a while when you have 2 young boys.
Thats what its all about for me , to cruise in it and enjoy life .
I will post Photos of my outing when we manage to do it . Hopefully it wont be to far away .
Cheers Rusty

Bit of Flat black could work, but probably wouldnt wear too good. Plus its still a $79 Cd player, and the quality difference between a big brand headunit (Clarion, sony, pioneer, kenwood, alpine) and the cheaper counterparts are suprisingly noticeable just by the look of them. Id spend a couple hundred and get something like this ($199 retail) A half decent set of speakers only costs $60 as well and can do wonders in a small cabin. Should blend in a bit better and make Barry Whites tunes a bit crisper and sexier during your "getaway". ; ) Be sure to only post the photos that you take BEFORE the wine takes effect.

Yea your right about the silver look compared to your black one there . Ill just buy a new one before GM day in november.
I do already have a 500 watt Kenwood amp under the passenger seat and 2 x 200 watt speakers in custom speaker boxes behind the seats &
2 X 100 watt speakers in the front kick panels. Its so loud that people 3 cars behind me can hear Black Sabbath cranked .
Believe me when I tell you the stereo in there at the moment is so loud .
The electrician who fitted it told me that there is no difference in sound between the s h i t Genisis and a Kenwood or Pioneer. because it goes to
the amp then it changes the boost (Grunt) to the speakers.
I agree with you totally now about the visual look of it . It stands out and looks S H I T . silver at the moment.
Black would just blend in and wouldnt take away from the dash.
Its funny how you dont notice things until someone points it out, Much appreciated Thankyou ,
I wont be playing Sabbath when the missus is in the car. She loves Michael Bubble.
Cheers Rusty

Sandman77, you havent thought of putting in a stocker radio and mounting a stereo under the dash out of eye sight? Get one with a remote and put a 6 stacker under the passengers seat. That way CD player is hidden yet you can still easily insert/remove cds.

We went to Cottesloe Beach and got some Fish & Chips then sat down on the beach & I had a Jax & coke & Jo had Midori to wash it down with .
Then we decided to CRZ around the river , the Ute was very well behaved & never missed a beat , Everywhere we went we had nice comments
from strangers & lots of interest from passers by . It was awesome day cant wait to do it again .

Id love to get one back . Love your Ute . I did a google search HZ SANDMAN UTE just to see one and yours came up.
