Haha...nice one.
Hes whacked it in a frame to keep the Ebay nazis off his back about rebirthing cars.
Obviously whoever buys this POS will toss the frame in the bin and create himself a munro.
Whats that model of Monaro worth nowadays anyway? I would have thought that tags off one of those might be worth $5K max??? |

NOS stuff fetches big money now. Its like the $200 and $300 headlight and wiper switches. Its really for people that are anal and have more cash than sense. Funny thing there doesnt seem to be any shortage of those people now days.

Hows the guy on E-bay with a phase 3 toploader for $10k? Saw another one recently on E-bay go for $5k? I have the same box at home but close ratio and reckon if he gets that kind of coin I will sell mine and buy a standard toploader!

Here is a good one an un molested V8 SS Hatch. Well you could let the non original 5 litre engine pass because putting a 253 back in is just a bolt on change over. If the bloody great aftermarket sunroof is not molestation then I am buggered if I know what is. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/U...DVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Craig, that model of Monaro would be 100K +, sure turns a 30K replica into an worthwile investment.

Yeah it impossible to get a falcon to look like a GT and thats what this car is. Missing a lot of the GT bling plus its got the XC bonnet on it. The lack of any interior shots always leaves a question mark but at that price its not really an issue as I doubt anyone is going to bid.

I asked the seller the following question,
"Does it have the following GT parts, GT dash, Steering wheel, Console, Tramp rods, Brake proportioning valve, 5 leaf rear springs, courtesy lights, triple core radiator and brackets, door trims, rear valance panel? "
His reply,
"no steering wheel no trampods can supply as extras"
Thanks for not answering the question mate. By that I think its safe to say that it has none of the above mentioned parts and is just a Falcon with a nice paint job...which as we know is a long way from a GT clone. I reckon its worth 8-11K, depending on what else is missing. |

Here is another one. The first listing looks legit enough: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/c...DVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
However the winning bidder could not organise freight hey they only had two hours to do so before it was re listed & they got no bad feedback: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/c...DVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
The second winner could not organise freight overnight before it was re listed either and hes only 3 hours away in Queanbeyan so he gets no bad feedback and it gets re listed again this morning: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/c...DVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
I suspect a couple of cases of shill bidding going on here but I could be wrong.
A good way for state governments to raise revenue would be for them to direct the police to book people for driving with their fog lights on when its not foggy.. |
