308's come in trimatic or turbo pattern blocks - i'm curious to know about bolt patterns for 6 cyl blocks - are they either of the above, or something diffrent?

They have their own bolt pattern.
Technically they are trimatic pattern, as aussie 4 speeds & trimatics bolt up, but they are a much smaller bellhousing than a V8, and the V8 bellhousings don't bolt onto a 6.

The Holden 6 bolt pattern goes back to the 48/215 (FX) & finishes with the VK. I don't know that it is similar to any other engine.
