Hi John,

I asked an upholstery restoration place about the best product to use on vinyl doortrims and he said baby oil. Armourall et al actually dry the vinyl out over time.

Try colour matched shoe pollish, as it restores the colour & protects it from the weather....

John, I don't have an LS or anything like it, but I do have something with an even worse vinyl top - one of my cars is a 1984 Suzuki Sierra softop. (Yeah, yeah, okay, stop laughing fellas.)

Anyway, I've resisted the urge to join the anti-Armourall c

Yeah show polish may be the go. I used to use black parade gloss on my 1981 Celica (hahaha yeah I know) bumpers when I was young. They polished up sweet.

So maybe chamois colour MAY just do it.

Cheers J
