Hi all

I was hoping some of you could point me in the right direction on the following.
The dipper switch on my HQ broke not long ago.
I got one on those non-genuine replacements and not long after this I started getting problems with the lights flickering if I left them on hi beam for too long.
Well I thought that the obvious problem was the after market switch not being able to handle the higher current levels for long periods, so I sourced an original Delco-Remy switch and put this in.
This has not stopped the problem. Could anyone tell me what I should check next?

Cheers for any advice

Paul

The flickering is the safety circuit breaker built in to protect the lights. I think you may have a bad connection somewhere that is causing excessive current draw. I had this when I connected spotlights, but cured it by fitting relays. Does the dipswitch
