if i was to replace the linkage throttle in my HQ with a cable, what would be involved, i was kinda hoping i could just bolt an HZ pedal and cable in.


any problems i'm likly to face? its goin onto a 350 holley (there when i got it) on a 253

Yep, that's pretty well all there is to it. It is a pretty simple conversion...just make sure you get a bolt-in pedal (unless you can weld) and that you get the cable-end bracket from the carby side of things. Then bolt (or weld) the new p

unfortunetly i dont have a welder (i can weld), but i could probably do it at trade school if i wanted.

The early Hj/HZ bolted to the floor. So you can just unscrew them and they bolt straight on the HQ holes.
