I currently have two projects I am about to stqart, one being a '71 HG Kingswood and the other a 1928 Durant/Rugby utility. What is the best way to approach these, as they are both complete rebuilds and require painting etc. Is it best to sort out the mechanical first, then tackle the body and interior, what are your suggestions? The HG will be running an injected 5ltr with a supra 5spd just to make it interesting. Is there a good book out there that would be of particular help in doing these projects?
Cheers;

The EFI 308 into the HG will be a pretty straight forward job, but there is a bit of mucking around mounting fuel pumps, swirl pots, relay/fuse boxes, air filter, computer etc. I would find yourself a cheap rusty HT or HG and mount the whole setup in it.

A supra 5 speed into a HG may require a tunnel cut.

Thanks for the info Byron. Sounds like a plan.
