Some people have told me there was only HJ, HX and HZ Sandmans and others have said that there were HQ's too. Anyone want to clear this up for me?

sandmans started with the HQ series and finished with the HZ , up until the HZ they were also available with a six cyl motor option.

HQ Sandman was produced in the first 9 months of 1974, making them very rare. I have just picked up an original in reasonable condition that I am about to fully restore. Finding info on the HQ Sandy is proving difficult, lack of pics . I still have some

thanks for the link, that photo of the gold van seems to be the only one in existance, anyone else seen another. Still confused about the door trims, saw a 1/43 scale model HQ sandy the other day with GTS trims, but then again they called the paint Infra

HQ sandman doortrims were the same as kingswood and with short armrests.
